Welcome to my blog!
I hope that you find the information on this page amusing and interesting. I will seek to provide information that is expressive of my personality and includes subjects of interest to many individuals. I will screen all blogs submitted prior to posting for content appropriateness. I have children who read my blog so I will look for family and kid friendly content.
I have very little tolerance for abusive comments directed towards other people, it is acceptable to provide critical feed back and offer up opinions that clearly express your disagreement. I will not post comments that I find to be intolerant of others or overly venomous.
I will not post anonymous comments

I am a fifty something woman, I have a strong interest in the Arts and in food preparation. I like to spend my free time painting, reading, cooking, or working on special projects. I am the "goto" resource for parenting tips and problem solving for my friends and family. My professional interests are in web development and in developing training programs for business professionals in team work and communication on the job. For the past 6 months I have been on medical leave learning to deal with epilepsy, a new diagnoses but not a new illness. I have experienced these symptoms since I was a child but never knew it was unusual until my job stress became very high in the past year and I developed an auto-immune illness. These extra stresses apparently triggered more seizures and I began experiencing memory and concentration problems. One day at work I had a mini-convulsion that we thought was a stroke. Months of testing showed weird EEG patterns more typical of epilepsy. I am slowly improving and regaining energy and some ability to concentrate, I still suffer from some major fatigue when I work to hard at any particular task so I keep a pretty minimal activity level. Life has taken on a whole new meaning now that I know what is going on.
